SCORING RULES

Determine the state champion for each division based on points accumulated across three tournaments.

Scoring System:

• Gold Medal: 5 points
• Silver Medal: 3 points
• Bronze Medal: 1 points

Automatic Gold Medal:

• If no other participant enters your registered division, you automatically win a gold medal (5 points) in that division.

Division Changes:

• If there is no competition in your division, you may be moved up to a new division.
• Points can also be scored in the new division if bumped up.

Points Calculation:

• Points earned in different divisions are not added together.
• Points for a single division are accumulated across all three tournaments.

Tiebreakers (in order):

1. Total victories
2. Submission victories
3. Points victories
4. Decision victories

Note:

• Participants can score points in multiple divisions.
• The winner in each division is determined by the highest accumulated points across the three tournaments.

These rules aim to provide clarity and ensure a fair and competitive environment for participants in the Nevada Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation tournaments.
